Hype Label of the Month: Hollystone Records
Tropical roots, global reach — Thailand's Hollystone Records is putting Progressive House on the map, one chart-topping release at a time.

What started as a personal imprint from Thai island-based artist Vakabular has grown into one of the most exciting forces in Progressive House. Founded in 2018 and named after the iconic venue nestled in the lush hills of Koh Phangan, Hollystone Records merges spirituality, community, and high-quality dance music in a uniquely powerful way.
A steady Saturday night fixture for international music lovers visiting Thailand, the Hollystone venue provides the real-world energy behind the label’s sonic identity — music meant to move open-air dance floors, not just dominate massive main stages.
Now, the label is catching serious global heat. In 2024 alone, three Hollystone tracks hit the #1 spot on Beatport’s Progressive House chart. The label ended the year ranked in the genre’s Top 5, with Vakabular named the #1 best-selling Progressive House artist on the platform.
Beyond Vakabular’s own hypnotic releases, Hollystone has welcomed a tight-knit crew of collaborators and genre innovators, including Temple Tears, D-Nox, RIKO & GUGGA, Tali Muss, DONT BLINK, and Plastic Robots. Their music has earned widespread support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, CamelPhat, and Vintage Culture.
With its tropical spirit and relentless drive, Hollystone Records is more than just a label — it’s a movement, rising from paradise and resonating far beyond.
In addition to getting an exclusive mix from the label head himself, we caught up with Vakabular to learn about Hollystone's story, one of its essential tracks, his plans for the imprint's future, and more.
