Helkah and Audio Key Architects join forces for the first time on Challenge Us, a high-energy and cinematic melodic techno track that pushes the boundaries of their respective styles.
Without drawing on specific influences, the artists aimed to create a raw and immersive experience, merging their unique approaches into a dark yet uplifting journey.
"We wanted to build a track that reflects both our worlds—something hypnotic, energetic, and powerful," they explain. The result is a fusion of deep progressive sounds, evolving arpeggios, and an intense drop that keeps the momentum high. One of the most striking moments is the main break, which they describe as deeply emotional and captivating.
As a first-time collaboration, Challenge Us was also a creative learning process. "Finding a workflow that worked for all three of us was a challenge in itself," says A.K.A., emphasizing how different production methods influenced their approach. Helkah, in turn, credits the project for expanding his musical vision: "This experience shaped the direction of my upcoming EP and brought me closer to my ideal sound."
