Chris Lake Confirms Long-Awaited Debut Album, ‘Chemistry’
The LP will come out July 11 on Black Book Records.

House music maestro Chris Lake has announced his debut album. The record is entitled Chemistry, and it will be out on July 11 via his own Black Book Records.
“This album has been a long time in the making, and it features some really special artists I’ve been lucky enough to work with,” Chris Lake says in a press release.
Lake also dropped his sought-after soulful banger, “In My Head” to celebrate the announcement. This in-demand ID features the vocals of the impressive songstress, Amber Mark, chopped up over lush chords and an active bass line.
“In My Head has been one of the most requested tracks from my sets—so people can finally stop asking me when it’s coming out. It felt like the right sound to announce the album with, and I’m very excited to release a lot more music in the coming months,” Lake continues.
The news about Chemistry and the release of “In My Head” add to Lake’s already huge 2025. He recently achieved another Beatport #1 with “Toxic,” his banging tech house collaboration with the Brazilian talent, Ragie Ban. Lake put out another major track earlier this year as well, his disco-tinged production, “Ease My Mind,” which features Abel Balder’s searing voice.
“In My Head” by Chris Lake is out now on Black Book Records. Purchase it exclusively on Beatport.
