Her track ‘Insanity’ soared to #1 on Beatport’s Indie Dance chart, while her signature sound, a bold reconstruction of four decades of electro, has earned her widespread praise across BBC Radio 1, Mixmag, and DJ Mag.
With ‘Initialize’, Greta pays homage to the legendary Fairlight CMI, the groundbreaking ’80s synth and sampler used by icons like Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, and Stevie Wonder. The result? A bouncy, high-energy club weapon packed with classic synth timbales, sharp hi-hats, and deep bass grooves, all leading up to a brilliant breakdown that delivers pure dancefloor euphoria.
“I wanted to bring a track packed with energy, bounce, funk, and fun to the album,” says Greta. ”‘Initialize’ has all of that. I loved manipulating the early sound designs of the CMI to create a real dancefloor heater.”
