Tailor Jae Drops Fiery Grime Track, “Diss One”
The single features the rhymes of seasoned UK rapper, Manga Saint Hilare.
Tailor Jae has released her first single of 2025, a hard-hitting grime collaboration with the veteran UK MC, Manga Saint Hilare. The solid beat from the Heavy On The Bass label boss harkens back to the classic metallic synths from dubstep originators like Skream and Benga. Manga then populates the track with his signature splashy flow.
Reflecting on the track's creation, Tailor Jae says, “Excited to share my first grime release with roll deep legend Manga. Grime is a part of why I do what I do and Manga is an incredible artist who has contributed so much to grime history so I’m honoured that he vocaled my track. The instrumental was produced in one of my darker moments without much intention but gladly Manga heard it and completely brought it to life, captured the essence of the track completely, and "Diss One" was born!”
Tailor Jae cut her teeth as a DJ around her native London, rising through the ranks to spin her unpredictable sets at major events like All Points East festival and Four Tet’s curated night at Drumsheds. Now as another sign of her continuing ascent, this year she was crowned a Beatport Next artist.
