In honor of International Women's History Month, we shine a light on the incredible women on LabelRadar. Their hard work and consistency as artists have led to success in getting music signed through the platform.

One of our earliest success stories came from the wonderful Kittrix: "So far I have had two successful releases through LabelRadar, including 'Sedative" on UFO Recordz and 'Night Terrors" on Diversity Recordings via Diverge Music Group. The process was super smooth. Later, after building a relationship with UFO Recordz, I actually released another track with them," says Kittrix.

Tenaj has gone on to launch her own label, but shared how LabelRadar made the submission process so much easier when she was starting out: "I used to send endless emails and submissions, which was very time-consuming with little to no success. Now, with one platform, I can submit to many labels and blogs. My latest collaboration got signed by Blanco y Negro, and LabelRadar has become my #1 go-to place. It’s not just a platform; it’s a community that truly supports artists like me” says Tenaj.

Molly Mouse won the Jess Bays remix competition on LabelRadar, landing her debut release with Good Company. This opened doors for future opportunities, and she went on to get a future track signed with Toolroom. We chatted with Molly Mouse last year on her journey since winning the contest.

One of our favourite partnerships is with the incredible organisation ‘Change The Beat’, which is also a Beatport Parity Fund recipient and has generated lots of career-accelerating opportunities to help emerging female, trans, and non-binary artists step into the spotlight.

Spearheaded by chart-topping producer Sydney Blu, Change The Beat offers workshops, events and of course remix contests (which is where we come in), connecting their community with the resources they need to break out in the dance music industry.

In the past year, we have seen high-profile contests for the likes of Eli + Fur (Anjunabeats), ESSEL (Toolroom), Deadmau5 ft. LIGHTS (Mau5trap), Mha Iri (Drumcode), Giorgia Angiuli (Armada Music), Carly Wilford (Nervous Records) and many more.

You can check out some of the winning remixes here:

Better in the Dark (INAMAR Remix)

Bell (YOZÉ Remix)

When The Summer Dies (MIILA Remix)

And finally, a huge shoutout to all the fantastic women working in label management, A&R and marketing who work with LabelRadar on a daily basis. We appreciate you!
