Azzecca has released her latest single, “Dance Of The Desert,” on Higher Ground. This new track coasts on funky rhythms, a swinging bassline, and an ear-catching vocal sample proclaiming, “I used to be able to write songs way easier when I was sad.” The words are a bit paradoxical as the music employs the kind of subtle yet effective grooves that can uplift any bad day.

“I made this song almost exactly a year ago, specifically to play at [Coachella] .. it has since become a staple in my sets and a favorite amongst my fans and my friends and me,” Azzecca wrote on Instagram. “I’m so so so so happy to get this one out into the world just in time for another year of desert dancing. I hope you all love it as much as I do.”

2025 has already been a huge year for Azzecca. In addition to being selected as a Beatport Next Artist, she made her debut on tszr with her springtime production, “Holding Back,” while putting out a remix on Factory 93. She has also expanded her event brand, Cosimea, to New York, Dallas, and Detroit.

“Dance Of The Desert” by Azzecca is out now on Higher Ground. Purchase it on Beatport.
