Week 13 Exclusive Beatport Picks
For the last weekend in March, load up your crates with fresh sounds that are exclusively available on Beatport. Whether you’re preparing for your next DJ set or collecting tunes for the car ride to the club, tracks like Jay Lumen’s peak-time slammer, “Voices,” and “Morar No Mar,” the Afro House blessing from Antdot, Tato, and soa will get you where you need to be.

Spring is here and the days are longer, so Week 13’s Beatport exclusive playlist can now supply for daytime and nighttime parties. Topping the list is one for when the sun’s out, “Morar No Mar,” the wondrous Afro House collaboration from Antdot, Tato, and soa, a trio of artists proliferating the rhythmic stylings of Brazil to a global audience.
This week is stacked with more Afro House from different parts of the world. John Cala, who is Colombian-born but Barcelona-based, leans into his current city on “In Spain,” a track that is equally inviting and intriguing, blending haunting orated harmonies with floaty beats. Shifting sights over to the cloudier parts of Europe, the UK’s NenaHalena and the Berlin-based Ain TheMachine converged for “Batuki Nation,” a drum-heavy take on the chart-topping genre.
But there is far more than Afro House on Week 13. Adam Beyer’s new single, “Explorer,” which is set to be included on his upcoming album, Explorer Vol.1, will satisfy all the techno heads with its astronomical grooves. And if that isn’t enough, Jay Lumen is also on the list with his certified slammer, “Voices.”
FISHER’s latest banger, “Stay,” is also included and primed to fill the speakers with both angelic choral harmonies and sun-kissed piano for all those upcoming park and beach hangs. DJ Icey’s soulful breaks tune, In The Dark (Club Mix), is another lustrous dance cut that is perfect for the freedom of the outdoors.
Of course, drum & bass can also be exceptionally soulful. DJ Rap proves this with his latest Beatport exclusive, “Tempest,” which lifts up passionate vocals into a whirlwind of high-flying drums. For those who prefer their D&B to kick like a racehorse, though, Prolix’s remix of “Flip Mode” by Audio launches sound from the speakers with the force of a space rocket lifting off into the stratosphere.
To hear all of these first-rate tracks blended together perfectly, head over to the Automix feature on Beatport DJ. This function automatically converts the full list into a continuous mix, making it easier than ever to discover new sounds.
