I LOVE playing more than just dubstep for the hour when I’m at a show.”

One moment that stands out for him was during his first VOLPEVERSE show in Denver, where a young fan attended with his family. “He had those big over-the-ear muffs for noise reduction, and it was his birthday. I think he was younger than nine. It was so cool to meet such a young basshead.”

DJ Snake’s endorsement of “GET SMACKED” at Lost Lands was a particular highlight. “I was shocked he opened with it. Anytime a big artist plays one of my songs, it really helps push that feeling of being good enough. It’s a level of validation that pushes all my insecurities away.”
