Mandidextrous Launches New Record Label, Speedbass Recordings, with Debut Single, "Needed You"
The label will focus on tracks in the 170-180 BPM range as well as championing diverse artists.

Mandidextrous has opened their brand new record label, Speedbass Recordings. Over the last 15 years, the eclectic producer and DJ has built an impressive reputation for championing high-tempo music, and now they will have their own brand to push the sound.
The first release on the label, “Needed You,” is out today as well. Sitting at the frenetic tempo of 170 beats per minute, the drums move quickly but still hit hard. Alongside the beat, the whistly vocals and wobbly basslines create an exciting call and response that engages listeners’ ears as much as their bodies.
As a non-binary artist, Mandidextrous’s aim with this label is to open space for artists who are just as diverse as the music they’re making.
Reflecting on the launch, they write, “My new label and brand, Speedbass Recordings, is a space for musical diversity, capturing an authentic energy that never fails to light up the dancefloor. My sound keeps the high energy I’ve always loved, yet is deeply nostalgic of my youth in the late '90s and early 2000s rave scene. I truly believe the music I’m creating now is a genuine expression of passion. Regardless of what the industry may think, I know how much love I pour into this sound, and I’m excited to see where this new venture takes me.”
