New music from Disclosure may be out very soon. The brothers, named Guy and Howard Lawrence, have shared a new video of them live jamming what they’ve hinted is a new song.
In the clip, Howard is playing resonant chords on the piano while Guy is in the next room manning full-bodied bass lines on a Moog Minimoog.
The caption in the post simply reads: “more newwwwwww things.”
This video follows another post from early this month in which Guy teased a work in progress that captures a similarly worldly sound as their 2018 single, “Ultimatum.”
The last piece of original music Disclosure released was their high-flying UK garage track, “King Steps,” featuring the ascending UK grime luminary, Pa Salieu. Then back in February the bassline maven Interplanetary Criminal provided a remix that infused the first version with an extra dose of rumbling low-end.
Disclosure's previous full-length album was Alchemy, which they released as a complete surprise back in 2023. They followed up the album with a secret set at People’s Park Tavern in North London. With the brothers working on new music, the prospect of another surprise album is very much on the table.
