Beatport has added Ambient/Experimental as a genre category to the store.
From the arrival of Brian Eno’s 1978 pioneering album Ambient 1: Music For Airports to the modern sonic incantations of acts like Barker, Tim Hecker, Oneohtrix Point Never, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, and beyond, ambient and experimental music are critical and multidimensional components of electronic music’s story and DNA.
