Lane 8 Has Dropped his Spring 2025 Seasonal Mixtape
This is the latest tape in the long-running series from the This Never Happened boss.

Lane 8 has shared his Spring 2025 mixtape, free to listen to on Soundcloud. Clocking in at nearly three hours, this is the 53rd entry in the series that the This Never Happened label head has been running since the winter of 2013.
Unsurprisingly the mix features several cuts from Lane 8’s 2024 album, Childish, such as the Le Youth remix of “You” by Lane 8 and Kasablanca. Other This Never Happened labelmates on the tracklist include Sultan + Shepard, MYRNE, Paraleven, and Deeparture.
Outside his own immediate network and discography, he selected artists such as Maribou State, Jamie xx, Airrica, and Qrion, providing tracks from Anjunadeep, Young, and Black Book among others.
This new tape also comes in the midst of his tour for the album. Lane 8 is currently on a run of North America through June, and he just announced his performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado set for October.
Other artists were quick to chime in on Instagram to celebrate the latest in the series which has become its own holiday for dance music culture after so many years.
“We got Red Rocks and the Spring Mixtape in the same week,” writes Rinzen who will be joining Lane 8 at the historic Colorado venue.
“You are the changing of seasons,” writes Cray.
