Anyma Remixes Dom Dolla’s Ghostly Single, “Dreamin”

Anyma has released his latest remix, a fresh take on “Dreamin” by Dom Dolla. Where the original was a minimalistic rendition of groovy tech house, this new version sees Anyma pedestal his signature gargantuan synth melodies atop a vibrating bassline and arena-sized kick drums. The common thread between the two is the haunting vocals of Daya whose appeal to an ethereal, pleasant landscape slots in perfectly within both sonic backdrops.

The two powerhouse producers first teased the track last week on Instagram. The post depicts them on the floor of Sphere in Las Vegas listening to the remix while checking out Anyma’s mechanical visual accompaniment for his End of Genesys residency.

While Dom Dolla was not one of the artists who opened for Anyma during the residency, he recently played out the remix at his own impressive headlining run: two sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden in New York. He was the first solo DJ to sell out two nights in a row at the legendary venue.

“Two nights at madison square garden, something i’m not sure im ever going to fully recover from. thank you for welcoming me with open arms new york city, i hope i did you proud,” Dom Dolla wrote on Instagram.
