Cosmic Gate & James French Reunite For Fiery New Single ‘I'm On Fire’

Cosmic Gate and Grammy-nominated vocalist James French join forces once again for I'm On Fire, a powerful new single that fuses soaring melodies with dancefloor-driven energy. Out now as the lead track from Cosmic Gate’s forthcoming Perspectives EP 1, the collaboration delivers a masterclass in progressive, emotive electronic music.
Following the success of last year’s Take Me, which saw the duo’s chemistry light up festivals worldwide, I'm On Fire turns up the intensity with its cinematic builds, euphoric drops, and French’s signature vocal presence. The track blends Cosmic Gate’s signature progressive sound with elements of trance and melodic techno, delivering a mainstage-ready anthem primed for 2025’s biggest events.
“Working with James again felt completely natural,” Cosmic Gate shares. “His voice has this incredible way of drawing people in, and we wanted to create something that could live both in a club and in a stadium setting. I'm On Fire does exactly that.”
French adds, “After Take Me, we knew there was more to explore. This track is about that unstoppable feeling of chasing something bigger—whether it’s love, passion, or the energy of the crowd. Cosmic Gate took that idea and turned it into something massive.”
The single is the first taste of Perspectives EP 1, which arrives March 28, 2025, featuring five tracks that showcase Cosmic Gate’s evolution. Fans got an exclusive first listen during the duo’s recent Bangkok Livestream, where I'm On Fire ignited excitement ahead of the EP release.
