Max Styler Commands Attention with New Single, “I Know You Want To”

Simple doesn’t mean boring — just take “I Know You Want To” as an example.
Max Styler’s first single of the year is uncomplex by design but hardly anticlimactic. The follow-up to his Don’t Stop EP, released via Diynamic Music at the end of January, trades innuendo for unfiltered frankness across its forward vocal loops (“I know you want to”) and echoes of “f***,” culminating in a provocative earworm that comes just in time for the 2025 festival season.
"I Know You Want To "took shape last year, in the days leading up to the hotly-tipped producer’s set at Seismic Dance Event. “I had been gravitating increasingly toward simpler drum patterns and bass lines, and I knew I wanted to put my twist on that sound,” he says. “The dramatic expletive in the song highlights the frustration you feel when you realize you’re faced with no other option but to lock in and find a way to achieve whatever has been lingering in your mind or needs to get done.”
It’s also fodder for crowds to shout back at Styler, as they’ve done with zeal in the three or so months since “IKYWT” premiered.
Max Styler's single “I Know You Want To” is out now via Insomniac Records. Buy it on Beatport.
