Slim Soledad and XD Erica have released their latest single, “Protecting My Heart And Puss_” on Headroom Records. This new track channels the kind of erratic sound design befitting of grimy warehouse techno raves and pairs it with tantalizing vocalizations that lend themselves to the provocative title.
“Protecting My Heart And Puss_” is also a part of Headroom’s new various artists compilation, Sueños En La Tormenta, placing Slim Soledad alongside other impressive artists such as CRRDR, Laza, and Noro$t.
Slim Soledad has built an intriguing and exciting reputation over the last several months with Headroom. Beginning in May of last year, she’s shared several releases on the label that culminated with the EP, Space Manual For Those Who Can not Swim. This eclectic extended player features five tracks that move through the stars with astral techno cuts, but also champion the rhythms of her Brazilian heritage.
2025 is already shaping up to be a big year for Slim Soledad. She has been crowned a Beatport Next artist and she was a part of the massive compilation Boys Noize shared to launch his new label, ONES and ZEROS. Her addition to the 22-track collection is called “Vai Toma Na Rave,” a stirring club tune that emphasizes her talent for mixing suspense with pure energy.
