A-Trak and Dave 1, the guitarist and lead singer of Chromeo, have recorded a new mix as The Brothers Macklovitch. Entitled “The Brothers Macklovitch Winter 2025 DJ Set,” the 70-minute set features tracks from a wide range of genres and eras. Jasper James, Radio Slave, Pat Lok, Harry Romero, Mason Collective, and many more all have originals and remixes spread through the eclectic back-to-back DJ set between the two brothers.

Furthermore, alongside the mix, the brothers have said they will soon be releasing new original music of their own as well:

“It’s Brother time!!! You know how @dave1 & I get down, we are @thebrothersmacklovitch. We finally got some new music on the way, but first - to hold you over - we recorded a new mixxx. Strictly soulful sounds,” A-Trak wrote on Instagram via The Brothers Macklovitch account.

A-Trak and Dave 1 released their debut collaboration on A-Trak's label, Fool's Gold, in 2020: the house single, “Give Love to Get Some,” featuring the modern R&B talent, Leven Kali.

Later that year they shared their second single, “I Can Call You,” which is built on a wide, swinging upright bassline and sees Dave 1 provide his vocal talents. Since then they’ve also remixed “Damaged Hearts,” Tchami’s downtempo soul collaboration with Todd Edwards, into an upbeat UK garage track.
