WHIPPED CREAM and Andrea Botez have released a new single to mark International Women’s Day. The new track is called “Erased,” and it’s out now on Monstercat.
Over the last few years, WHIPPED CREAM has grown beyond the standard producer/DJ and established herself as a multidisciplinary artist. Having released several concept EPs during that time, including the cinematic Someone You Can Count On and this year’s Careline which is built around her four-to-the-floor alter ego, no genre is off limits.
Botez is equally multi-talented. She’s a chess champion, a celebrated Twitch creator with over 1.3 million followers, and she’s recently dipped her toes into dance music production, remixing Boris Brejcha and Kaskade.
Now, WHIPPED CREAM and Botez have merged their creativity into dastardly, vocal-driven techno.
“This one is different — melodic, soulful, and powerful. It is not just a track; it’s a moment. Dark techno collides with melodic house, blending deep, emotive vocals with an unrelenting groove and unstoppable energy. This is more than music; it’s a statement. I cannot wait for the world to experience it, especially in celebration of International Women's Day. Andrea's influence in heavy techno played a major role in shaping this track,” WHIPPED CREAM says in a press release.
Botez goes on to say, “I fell in love with WHIPPED CREAM's sound when I first heard her haunting yet beautiful vocals and knew immediately we had to combine our two unique styles. I sent Caroline [WHIPPED CREAM] my first ‘tech house’ demo, and her writing for ‘Erased’ transformed the track into a techno anthem. We both pulled from past experiences, and her vocals even inspired me to add some of my own as an Easter egg.”
“Erased” is out now on Monstercat. Buy it on Beatport.
