Beatportal Exclusive: CHANEY LAUNCHES "CHANED TO THE RHYTHM" – A NEW ERA OF HIGH-ENERGY CLUB MUSIC
CHANEY launches Chaned To The Rhythm, a new label dedicated to high-energy, club-ready house music. Kicking off with the Fixed For Love EP, he’s setting the tone for a movement built purely for the dancefloor.

For an artist like CHANEY, launching a label isn’t just about releasing records—it’s about shaping a movement. With the arrival of Chaned To The Rhythm, the UK producer is stepping into the role of label boss, curating a sonic experience that reflects his passion for high-energy, club-ready house music. The name is a clever nod to his own moniker, but it also carries a deeper meaning—a relentless commitment to the rhythm of the dancefloor.
A Label Years in the Making
For CHANEY, the idea of starting his own imprint has been simmering for years. Having already released on some of his favorite labels, now felt like the perfect time to carve out his own space.
“It’s something I’ve wanted to do for years, and I’m super excited to finally get it up and running,” CHANEY explains. “This is an opportunity to expand not only the records I make but to develop a sound alongside other DJs and producers.”
While he has no plans to step away from collaborating with other top-tier imprints, Chaned To The Rhythm allows him to push boundaries in ways that might not always align with a traditional label’s A&R structure. There’s a certain freedom in throwing the rulebook out the window, and CHANEY is fully embracing it.
His experience working with major labels has given him a strong foundation to build from. He’s learned the ins and outs of track selection, arrangement, and the nuances of mixing for impact. Now, with his own label, he can apply all of that knowledge without external constraints, allowing for a more organic, unfiltered approach to music-making. This isn’t just about putting out records; it’s about creating a space where his musical identity can evolve without limitations.
More Than Just a Name—A Vision for Club Culture
The label name strikes a perfect balance between personal branding and a homage to the golden era of house music.
“We wanted to link it to my name without it being cringey,” CHANEY says with a laugh. “It’s also a nod to those classic house labels from the ’90s and 2000s.”
Beyond the clever wordplay, Chaned To The Rhythm is built on a simple but powerful philosophy: keep the focus on the music itself. With dance music trends evolving faster than ever in the age of social media, CHANEY wants to strip things back to the essentials—pure, unfiltered, high-energy club music.
“The sole intention is to make you dance,” he says. “Trends come and go, but the feeling of losing yourself on the dancefloor—that’s timeless.”
This mindset is reflected in the sound he wants the label to champion. Rather than chasing viral moments or fleeting fads, CHANEY is intent on building a catalog of tracks that DJs can rely on for guaranteed dancefloor reactions. He sees Chaned To The Rhythm as a space where club music can flourish in its purest form, untouched by the pressures of commercial compromise.
A Bold Debut: Fixed For Love EP
The label’s first release, Fixed For Love EP, is a no-nonsense statement of intent. Comprising two certified weapons, the EP is designed to hit hard in the club.
“With this EP, I didn’t overthink it,” CHANEY admits. “I’ve played these tracks out, they’ve gone off, and they felt exactly right to set the tone for Chaned To The Rhythm.”
The title track, “Fixed For Love,” leans into a Big Beat-inspired sound, built around a Northern Soul sample from Lee Rogers. “That sample took me straight to the late ’90s—The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim,” he says. “I wanted to lean into that sound but keep the backbone of house music intact with banging 909s and teasing those breakbeat elements.”
Meanwhile, “Moving To The Beat” taps into CHANEY’s signature rolling-disco basslines. It’s a track that encapsulates his DJ style—an intoxicating fusion of disco, house, and rave influences. For CHANEY, evolution is key, but so is staying true to what his fans love.
“I always try to reflect my DJ sets in my productions,” he says. “It’s about fusing my influences in a way that feels natural.”
The creative process behind these tracks was remarkably fluid. Some records take weeks or even months to perfect, but Fixed For Love EP came together in a burst of inspiration.
“They were both instant,” CHANEY recalls. “Sometimes in the studio, I can sit for hours without coming up with much—and other times, much like these two records, I’m firing on all cylinders.”
That instinctive approach has served him well, and it’s something he plans to carry forward into the label’s future releases.
What’s Next: Building a Movement
With Chaned To The Rhythm officially in motion, the next phase is about expanding beyond just CHANEY’s own productions.
“We’re slowly building the release schedule, and we’ve got some unreal demos from talented DJs and producers,” he reveals. “This will naturally evolve into a platform for other artists.”
And it won’t stop at music. CHANEY has big plans for Chaned To The Rhythm, with events, club nights, and merch already in the works.
“100%—we’re in the early stages of setting up our first parties, which is super important for the brand,” he says.
These events won’t just be standard club nights; CHANEY envisions them as immersive experiences that fully embody the label’s ethos. Carefully curated lineups, exclusive label releases, and a sense of community will be at the heart of each event. For CHANEY, it’s about bringing people together through music in a way that feels genuine and electrifying.
Live, CHANEY is bringing the label’s ethos to some of the world’s biggest clubbing hotspots, with headline shows in New York, Miami, and London. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, his mission remains the same: to make people move.
“My job is to make people dance and introduce them to new music along the way,” he says with a grin.
With Chaned To The Rhythm, CHANEY isn’t just releasing tracks—he’s cultivating a feeling. And if this debut EP is anything to go by, the dancefloor is in for something special.
