Grace Dahl Shares Diverse Techno EP, ‘System Failure’
The release features two original cuts from the Beatport Next Artist and two remixes.
Grace Dahl has shared her new EP, System Failure, on South Signatures Records. This is the Amsterdam-based artist’s first full release of 2025, which has already seen her contribute a track, “The Green Room,” to Vault Records, Vault Sessions 10 Years compilation and be crowned a Beatport Next Artist.
System Failure includes two originals and two remixes, creating a widespread pallet of techno across the four productions. The title track harnesses rhythmic and aural intensity as Dahl swaps between punchy breakbeats and throbbing four-to-the-floor kicks while slotting screechy ambience into the fills. Her second original, “Camille Fatale,” is on the grooves with a swinging bassline, but she maintains the haunting techno feel with ghostly layers and sweeps.
Italian techno stalwart and South Signatures Records label boss, Raffaele Attanasio, is the remixer on “System Failure.” He turns Dahl’s powerful original into a spacey exploration of dance music hypnotism. Another Italian star, Rebecca Delle Piane, remixes “Camille Fatale” from its funkier initial iteration into a hard-hitting mass of sound.
