Hear Hyperdub Artist Nazar's new single 'Anticipate' ahead of his album release

'Anticipate' perfectly introduces Nazar's reinvention as it leads the waty for his new album Demilitarize which is out on 25th April. It's the first time we hear him sing as he briskly confronts the angry war diary of his previous album 'Guerilla' , that mapped out the history of his family's history as part of the Angolan civil war, exiled in Europe while his General father fought in the Jungle.

It introduces the theme of personal growth as he unburdens in a high, shivery voice, over spinning kaleidoscopic notes and springy rhythms; 'Exposure comes at a cost, Why do I carry this weight? I’m combat-ready for the loss' . Everything we thought about Nazar is now about to change
