The legendary London radio station, NTS, is taking mix submissions. As a part of the second season of Supporter Radio, NTS supporters can send in their DJ mixes for a chance to be broadcast throughout the Spring.
The theme for the mixes this season is “joy.”
“This year we're fed up of doom and gloom, and we want you to send us mixes based on the theme of JOY. Feel free to interpret the theme however you choose. Whatever joy sounds like to you, we want to hear it: whether that’s pirate radio grime rips, ebullient gospel songs or the distorted kicks of happy hardcore,” NTS wrote in an Instagram post.
Submissions will be open until March 4. The mixes must be at least 60 minutes and sent as an mp3 file. Members can also submit as many entries as they want as long as each file has a different title.
According to NTS, the submissions don’t technically have to be mixed either:
“Lots of radio shows aren’t mixed. You can just play one song after another without blending them together,” reads the NTS website.
