BLOND:ISH Releases Eclectic New Album, ‘Never Walk Alone’
The DJ, producer, label head, event curator, and environmental activist’s sophomore album is out now on Insomniac Records.

Ten years after her debut album, Welcome To The Present, BLOND:ISH has shared her second full-length LP, Never Walk Alone, via Insomniac Records. Throughout its 12 tracks, the DJ, producer, Abracadabra label head, event curator, and environmental activist, channels her widespread creative energy into a concise collection of groovy and worldly four-on-the-floor music.
The track “Self Love” represents the warm feelings of internal appreciation with resonant pianos and bouncy kicks, but also integrates intriguing moments of sonic tension. The journey towards truly loving yourself can be difficult, but it’s always worth it in the end:
“Life is all about overcoming the impossible and the story about ‘Self Love’ is no different,” BLOND:ISH said in a statement.
“Can’t Let You Go” is a serene afro house tune perfect for the beachside sets that BLOND:ISH will host this summer as the first woman to hold a long-term residency at Pacha Ibiza. Especially with Bantu’s vocals lending an authentic African sound.
“Meeting Bantu was a super sweet random encounter. We went deep pretty quickly. I spoke to him about the intentions infused into this album. I wanted it to open up people into discovering they are their own best friend -- and he immediately wanted to add his distinct flavor,” BLOND:ISH says.
BLOND:ISH’s new album, Never Walk Alone, is out now via Insomniac Records. Buy it on Beatport.
