Sonny Fodera and Clementine Douglas Tell Me

Sonny Fodera and Clementine Douglas are a match made in house heaven, and “Tell Me” is their latest offering from above. Coming out on Fodera’s celebrated record label, Solotoko, this Beatport exclusive defines the unspoken chemistry Fodera and Douglas have developed over years of working together.

Fodera knows the exact kind of backdrop that lets Douglas’s voice shine brightest. Building from deep reverberant chords, she starts “Tell Me” with intentional restraint, letting the audience simmer as she hovers in the heart of her range. Then as her riffs extend higher and higher, Fodera brings in an airtight breakbeat, building to the four-on-the-floor drop over which Douglas's voice ascends to the ethereal. She delivers a crystal-clear chorus in the foreground while atmospheric vocal runs fill the remainder of the soundscape, enveloping the dance floor in sonic goodness. Listen below

Adding to the beautiful nature of the song, the music video follows Douglas as she explores the otherworldly landscapes of Iceland. She watches the sun rise over snowy tundra, icy hills, frozen lakes, and deserted beaches as her voice flies through the chilled winter air.

“Tell Me” comes out just as Fodera secured a Song of the Year nomination at the 2025 BRITs for “Somedays,” his 2024 house music staple that Douglas co-wrote. Douglas also has her own recent award win after taking home “Best Breakthrough Vocalist” for the 2024 DJ Mag Best of British awards. These accolades follow Fodera and Douglas’s success with their 2023 collaboration, “Asking,” which spent 50 weeks in the OCC charts, went Platinum in the UK, Double Platinum in Ireland, and Gold in Australia.

“Asking” was the first of Fodera’s three consecutive releases, including “Somedays” and “Mind Still” to enter the UK singles chart. With this impressive run, Solotoko has become one of the only independent dance labels with two top-10 hits in a 12-month period.

Sonny Fodera & Clementine Douglas' latest single, "Tell Me," is out now via Solotoko. Buy it on Beatport.
