Founded by Will Holland in 2008, the UK-based independent record label Enhanced Music has earned a reputation as one of the most prolific and sought-after outlets for quality dance music. A household name for Trance and Progressive House lovers everywhere, the label has spawned unforgettable chart-topping dance floor classics from legends of the scene like Paul van Dyk, Tritonal, Estiva, and beyond.
This mammoth electronic music hub also has a vast array of genre-expanding sublabels under its wing, including Enhanced Recordings, Colorize, Enhanced Chill, and Enhanced Progressive.
The latter, founded in 2009, is Enhanced Music's most sought-after home for cutting-edge Progressive and Trance. With over 600 releases in its catalog, Enhanced Progressive has a phenomenal variety of fresh talent and classic artists who continue to push out fresher, better, and more mesmerizing tracks year after year. With releases from the likes of Farius, Sunny Lax, Ruben De Ronde, Steve Brian, DT8 Project, and many more, the label has earned a reputation as one of the most globally revered labels in the Trance & Progressive scene.
We caught up with Farius — the head of A&R over at Enhanced Progressive — to get a tour of the studio, learn about some of the label's most essential tracks, and learn some fun facts about the label.
In addition, Farius has curated an exclusive Beatportal Residency Mix to bring us on a rousing sonic journey through the last 15 years of this pivotal label.
