Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte’s run of back-to-backs at Flanders Expo was one of the biggest pieces of dance music news in 2024. Now, just days before the Belgian techno lords perform in front of 23,000 eager dancers in their home country for their first shared headline, they have also announced their first shared release: One Mind EP.

The two-track EP will be out on February 6, following the first two events at Flanders on January 31 and February 1, but before the third date on February 8, which was added because all 46,000 tickets to the first two sold out immediately after Lens and de Witte announced the run (the third gig sold out immediately after they announced it a week later).

“We were super excited, and we had some kind of expectations, but I don’t think we expected this,” Lens said during an interview at ADE 2024 alongside de Witte.

“There was a whole marketing plan and budget for these events that was not necessary,” de Witte continued.

“When it sold out so fast, you know it’s the core fans. No one is there by mistake. People really know what they buy a ticket for,” Lens added. “We have the best crowd.”

Those three massive crowds will surely hear both tracks (which are now available for pre-order on Beatport) during the historic gigs at Flanders. Listen below!

Opening with “One Mind,” the EP begins with a chilling whisper that slices through the mix. A heavy, vibrating kick and hard-edged hats form a techno hotbed from which de Witte and Lens join forces to gradually summon a striking acid line, demonstrating their shared mastery of the 303.

Where Do We Go” comes next to ask a simple question that every raver has had to ask themselves at least once: “Where do we go when the night fades?” Well, if this track is playing, there’s no need to go anywhere. Still infused with that jittery acid touch, this co-production is heavy and hypnotic, contrasted with ghostly melodic loops. When the breakdown sets in, Lens and de Witte answer their own question, but not with words. With suspenseful deconstruction and a slamming epic, drop.
