Now in its fifth year, this initiative highlights emerging artists shaping the future of dance music. By offering vital exposure and growth opportunities, Beatport reaffirms its commitment to supporting the next wave of innovative talent.

One of this year’s standout selections is Grace Dahl, an Amsterdam-based artist redefining techno with her distinctive sound. Known for her electrifying sets that fuse hypnotic loops, bouncy grooves, and driving percussion, Dahl has become a fixture in the global techno scene. As a resident of Vault Sessions, she has performed at iconic venues like Berghain and Awakenings, captivating audiences with her dynamic energy. Her roots in Budapest’s ’90s rave scene continue to inspire her forward-thinking approach to music.

In 2024, Dahl launched SDT Recordings, a label dedicated to exploring the cutting edge of techno and championing artistic innovation. Reflecting on her journey, Dahl said, “I’m not reinventing the wheel, nor am I trying to rewrite the entire script — just a few new lines, perhaps."
