Beatport DJ is the Perfect Music Digging Tool
Demo and test out tracks in the mix, with access to over 12 million tracks in Beatport DJ.

One of the key things that sets a good DJ apart from a great DJ is their track selection. With so many tracks available digitally it can be hard to sift through them all and find the right sounds to fit your style, whilst also remaining unique. With instant access to over 12 million tracks and the ability to demo and test out tracks in the mix, Beatport DJ is the perfect music digging tool to help you do just that.
The Beatport DJ UI features all the tools you would expect to find in other DJ software; Fader, cue buttons, pitch control, multiple filter types and 10 different FX - plus all the music you could ever want, all in one place. This gives you the ability to get hands on and mix the tracks you want to buy before you commit to purchasing them.
Choose from any of the millions of tracks and over 30 genres on offer, or one of the expertly curated playlists for instant inspiration. Beatport DJ comes with two-minute previews of each track for free, or you can add a Beatport Streaming subscription from $10.99 to access full track playback. Load up two tracks you like the sound of, or test out a new track with one you already know to find out first hand if it will work in your next set. Discovering new music with Beatport DJ is easy. The Discover tab in the main window gives you quick access to trending music, the global top 10, hype top 10, trending artists, labels, and sections for each genre. There is also a section called Dig Deeper, where you’ll find an extensive list of expertly curated playlists for each genre.
The intuitive layout and ability to add tracks to your cart in one click makes Beatport DJ the ideal digital music digging tool for DJs. Being able to properly test out tracks before adding them to your cart will make each of your purchases cheaper and more efficient - no more wasted buys taking up space on your hard drive.
You don’t even have to mix the tracks yourself. If you want to quickly listen to a playlist whilst doing other things, you can also turn on automix. This will playback the full playlist, automatically mixing the tracks together so you can audition tracks in the background. Automix is a great way to whizz through the expertly curated playlists in Dig Deeper, a top 10 chart or your own curated playlist, then whittle the tracks down to those you want to purchase later.
If you want to take Beatport DJ to the next level, you can also connect a controller to make it an even more hands-on music-digging experience. A long list of controllers come pre-mapped to Beatport DJ, while you can easily map others yourself, saving your settings for next time.
