MADE IN BRISTOL: EATS EVERYTHING TEAMS UP WITH GARDNA ON ‘SIDE BY SIDE’
Eats Everything links with rapper and fellow Bristolian Gardna for a UKG-inspired ode to the rave

Eats Everything has kicked 2025 in a big way, teaming up with fellow Bristolian Gardna on the new single, ‘Side By Side’, a record that perfectly encapsulates the essence of UK club culture. Bridging the gap between house and garage and given that MC swagger thanks to Gardna’s inimitable vocals.
The UK is blessed with some very strong musical cities but when it comes to electronic music, not many rival Bristol. The city's scene has long been defined by its sound system roots and multi-genre approach to parties and collaboration. Eats Everything and Gardna both keep the spirit of Bristol right at the heart of their artist projects, whether it's musical output or the curation of their respective parties. With that in mind, it's hard to believe this is the debut collaboration from the long-time friends.
Gardna’s lyrics, opening with “See me on the dancefloor, see me in the rave…,” perfectly capture the vibrant spirit of UK dancefloors and legendary warehouse parties, so it was fitting that the duo debuted the track at the UK's two biggest parties - Manchester’s iconic Warehouse Project and then London’s DRUMSHEDS, where Eats went back-to-back with UKG icon MJ Cole.
Gardna:
“‘Side By Side’ to me is Bristol coming together. Two worlds colliding and taking it to a whole new dimension. I’ve been raving to Eats for half my life, and I'm gassed to finally get a tune in with this absolute legend in the game. We both love representing our city, so the process was seamless.”
Eats Everything:
“Any chance I get to hook up with a talented geezer from the greatest city in the world, Bristol, then I’m there quicker than you can say dodecahedron. This track came together so easily and so nicely, and it bangs. ”
‘Side By Side’ channels pure fun with Eats blending an organ melody, a bouncy UKG/house rhythm, and a playful bassline. Gardna’s lyrics, packed with charm and humour, bring the track to life, capturing the wild energy of life on the road.
‘Side By Side’ follows Eats’s recent single ‘Upside Down’, a long-awaited Niles Rodgers-approved edit of a Diana Ross disco classic. As an unreleased ID, the track took on a life of its own, becoming a sought-after secret weapon for the biggest names in dance music, including Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, and Groove Armada. With the blessing of the original writers, Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, Eats was able to release the track officially in November. It’s since been a mainstay in the Beatport Top 10, a Radio 1 Hottest Record, and features in the biggest dance playlists on Spotify and Apple Music, Mint and DanceXL, respectively. The track also featured on BBC 1’s Match Of The Day (avg. 4M viewers).
On January 11th, Eats will kick off his massive XOYO residency in London, taking place every Saturday until February 1st.
