Described as a celebration of "the essence of love on the dancefloor," ‘Parlez-Vous’ aims to encapsulate fleeting moments of connection in a club setting. “With Parlez-Vous, I’ve tried to capture the essence of love on the dancefloor,” Estiva shares. “It’s a lighthearted club track that celebrates the unique sparks of love that only exist within the unity of the people on the dancefloor.”

To bring this vision to life, Estiva leaned into a groovier, more upbeat approach compared to his typically lush, emotional productions. “I wanted to capture the vibe of people on the verge of connecting—perhaps exchanging glances and playful flirtations,” he explains. “It’s that light, upbeat energy, free from heavy emotional weight, that often serves as the perfect spark for something new.”

One of the standout elements of ‘Parlez-Vous’ is its inventive use of vocal snippets and hypnotic synth lines. Estiva revealed a surprising detail about the vocal production: “Lacking the patience to wait for a vocalist, I got creative and recorded my own voice,” he says. Through clever processing, he transformed it to sound like a female vocal. “Trust me, you don’t want to hear the original,” he jokes.

By keeping the vocal chops “snappy and clear,” Estiva ensured they complemented the track’s driving groove. The result is a dynamic, energetic piece that feels equally at home on the dancefloor and in personal playlists.

Estiva’s extensive touring schedule has shaped his approach to music in recent years, pushing him toward more club-focused sounds. “Touring extensively has definitely steered my music in a more club-focused direction,” he explains. “I love the rush of wrapping up a demo just before heading off to another country, knowing I’ll get to test it out live.”

This evolution is evident in tracks like ‘Parlez-Vous,’ which embody the immediacy and energy of his live sets. “Road-testing tracks is a crucial part of my process,” he adds. “If a stripped-down version of a track gets a great reaction, I know I don’t need to add much more to it.”

Reflecting on his experience, he praises the dynamic and ambitious nature of the team. “With Colorize, I’ve found a young, dynamic team with incredible spirit and even bigger ambitions. It’s exciting to be part of their vision and to grow alongside them.”

Estiva credits the label with helping him broaden his audience while staying true to his artistic vision. “They actively seek out creative ways to share my work that align perfectly with my sound,” he says. Known for his ability to balance melodic depth with high-energy production, Estiva approaches this duality with instinct and experience. “Finding the right balance of elements in a track comes down largely to instinct, something I’ve developed through years of writing and performing music,” he explains.

I had the best time writing it, free from any rules or expectations.”
