Swansea's Stepco lands on Get Physical Music with electric new single 'I Wanna Dance'

Stepco was last on this label with 'Loving' It' on Greta Levska's superb Ibiza Get Physical release back in March 2024. He is a DJ and producer who is at the heart of the Welsh underground with his own take on house and techno. He runs his own label and event series Step Up Records and has had support from the likes of Solomun, Joseph Capriati and Gorgon City.
His new jam, 'I Wanna Dance', is a kicking cut built on serrated electro rhythms with a dark underbelly. The bassline turbocharges the whole track as menacing vocals loop over snappy snares, and an ascending synth line leads to an explosive dance floor takeoff.
Corbi contributed to the same Ibiza Gets Physical release and now impresses with his remix skills. His fantastic take on 'I Wanna Dance' is just as direct but has a more lithe and warped bassline. The synths here are rave-ready stabs, and the prickly rhythms never stop moving.
