How did you guys meet?

We met through friends at a party and quickly bonded over our love for electronic music. Teaming up felt natural, and our creativity just clicked together.

How old were you when you started making music?

We’ve both been into music long before we met. Each of us started around age 14, with Aviv on drums and Amit playing guitar. Later, we moved from physical instruments to laptops and dove into electronic production, which opened up a whole new world for us creatively.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

Our influences are pretty diverse and really depend on the mood each day. One day, we’re inspired by Josh Wink, and the next, it could be Maceo Plex, Axwell, Solomun, or Radio Slave. Infected Mushroom and Red Axes have also been key influences, pushing us to experiment with our own sound. We love blending elements from different styles, which keeps our sound fresh and unpredictable.

What’s your creative process like when working together?

In general, we believe that when someone’s starting a new track, they’re really in their zone and shouldn’t be interrupted. So, we usually begin tracks separately, then send them back and forth like a game of ping-pong. It always reaches a point where the one who didn’t start the track knows exactly how to finish it in the best way.

What’s been the most surreal moment in your career?

We’ve had a lot of surreal moments, but sharing the stage with Solomun in Spain was definitely one of the biggest! It was pouring rain—the CDJs almost got flooded—but the crowd just kept dancing. That energy was unreal. You can actually catch our set from that night on our YouTube channel.

What can fans expect from Clüb De Combat next? Any new music or performances on the horizon?

We’ve got some exciting stuff on the way. New tracks are lined up, and we’re in the works for a US tour—so for our friends in the States, keep an eye out. We can’t wait to share what’s next and bring our sound to new places. Stay tuned!
