The city of Miami has always been a hotbed of electronic music activity and innovation, but in recent years, it has really taken its dance floor vibe and international acclaim to new heights. Its broad-ranging sound and party magnetism derive from the city's multitude of clubland microcosms. From extravagant beach parties that offer the latest in Afro-influenced tech house to underground warehouse raves that showcase the grittiest electro, the possibilities are limitless.
Miami's homegrown underground dance music mainstays — many of whom spent their formative years listening to Miami bass, freestyle, Latin, Caribbean music, and beyond — have taken their sonic background and spun it into something that is taking the global electronic music scene by storm.
Ahead of their performance at the 11th edition of what has become one of Miami's most eclectic and highly-anticipated dance music gatherings, III Points Festival, we tapped four of these pivotal DJ/producers — Danny Daze, Coffintexts, Troy Kurtz, and Jubilee — to give us a taste of what we can expect to hear at this Magic City celebration of boundary-breaking dance music.
All four artists will perform at III Points Festival 2024 alongside an immense lineup of local and international talent from across the dance music spectrum — taking place at Mana Wynwood, Miami, on October 18th & 19th. Secure tickets here.

DANNY DAZE
"I wanted to put focus on Miami acts with this chart. All of these acts will be playing III Points festival this year. Miami has a really wide spectrum when it comes to sound, so there's something for everyone in here"

JUBILEE
“It's not a secret that I love Miami Bass. If you read anything about me that is one of the first things that is mentioned. So when I dig for new music I naturally go for certain sounds, drum patterns and samples. Mixing old Miami classics with new releases is something I am always onto, whether I try to or not. There are certain songs I will never ever stop playing and if you have seen me enough times you know this. I always love returning to play in Miami. The people that live there are born and raised on these sounds. So even though I have been gone for a long time I always feel at home.”

TROY KURTZ
“Miami is showing no signs of cooling after a steamy summer. My chart here features a kaleidoscope of sounds that inspired me on the road and at home in Miami this summer. The sounds in this set showcase some styles that have influenced my original productions and my recent DJ sets. There's a mix of some older digs, as well as some fresh releases that have caught my ear and have been tested in the club. Expect to hear a gamut of genres that range from deep house to harder rave-appropriate tracks during my set at III Points this year, where I'll be linking with one of Miami's OG DJs, Bakke, for our debut b2b set.”

COFFINTEXTS
"The tracks I added in my chart are what I’m playing in the club as of recently. I also added a couple personal favs like Dread - Gorgon Sound version, I never get tired of listening to that one. I’ve also included a couple friends here like Alan T, INVT, and Marling, amazing artists. The idea for me, while I’m DJing, is to keep it sexy, smooth, and deep (unless I’m feeling a little crazy lol). That’s what the majority of these tracks put forward in my mind. I want people to feel comfortable, and confident when they walk into the space I’m playing at, especially if it's a new person that’s unfamiliar or normally doesn’t listen to me.”
