Meera, a rising Norwegian producer, makes her debut on Black Book Records following a rapid ascent in the melodic house and techno scene. Her EP, “Corpus,” arrives just over a year after her first release on Vinyl On Demand, during which her tracks have quickly made her a standout name in the European club circuit. With Chris Lake’s endorsement and a Canadian tour in progress, Meera is primed to make a significant impact on the North American dance community.
Drawing inspiration from her experiences at iconic clubs like De School and Berghain, Meera brings over 15 years of deep engagement with club culture to her production. "Corpus" showcases her intricate percussion and ethereal synths, emphasizing peak-time energy, shaped by her extensive touring in 2024. Her track "Sirkustelt" explores a feverish psychedelia, pushing the boundaries of club aesthetics.
In addition to her summer residency at Hï Ibiza, Meera toured internationally in 2024, performing at renowned venues and festivals such as Tomorrowland, fabric, and Watergate. With support from industry tastemakers like &ME, Damian Lazarus, and Black Coffee, Meera is proving that she is a formidable presence in the dance music scene.
