This progressive house track blends deep, cinematic soundscapes with powerful vocal performances, crafting a song that explores the darker side of the human experience. "Nightmares" begins with a haunting melody, a key element that shapes the entire track. "The melody came to me during a workout session," shares Ben C. "It was an instant inspiration, and once we found the perfect vocals, it added an organic, emotional depth to the song."
The duo pays homage to Pink Floyd’s High Hopes with a piano introduction that sets a surreal and reflective tone. Drawing from their influences in progressive house, ‘Nightmares’ balances the delicate interplay of light and dark. "We always strive for an emotional and melodic journey, and the main synth melody is the heart of this track," says Kalsx.
One of the key challenges in creating Nightmares was incorporating vocals into the deep, introspective genre of progressive house. "We wanted the voice to complement the music without overpowering the synths or becoming too mainstream," Ben C explains.
