The Beatport Group is proud to announce the opening of applications for the third annual Diversity + Parity Fund, aimed at supporting organizations that champion diversity and equity in the dance music industry. The $150,000 fund reaffirms Beatport's commitment to amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups and fostering a more inclusive music ecosystem.

Building on the success of last year’s fund, which awarded grants to impactful organizations around the globe such as Saffron, Change The Beat, ONE OFF TRAKS, Other Village People, We Are Moving The Needle and Last Night A DJ Saved My Life, this year’s fund will once again offer financial backing, marketing, and editorial support to help recipients scale their efforts.
Additionally, $10,000 will be allocated to a special IMS Ibiza Fund, helping young artists attend the summit in 2025. Join the waiting list to receive more information.

“At Beatport, we believe that fostering a more inclusive music industry is essential to its continued evolution and success,” said Sofia Ilyas, Chief Community Officer of The Beatport Group. “Through our Diversity + Parity Fund, we aim to empower those working at the grassroots level to help shape a more inclusive future in electronic music. We’ve been honored to support incredible initiatives over the past two years and watch them grow and make a real impact. We look forward to seeing the impact this year’s recipients will make.”

The fund is designed to provide financial support and visibility to organizations working to address issues of diversity and inclusion in the electronic music space. Like previous years, recipients will be selected through its application process, with grants ranging between $3,000 and $15,000 to accommodate both smaller grassroots initiatives and larger-scale organizations. In addition to the financial grants, Beatport will provide editorial exposure and marketing support to amplify the work of each recipient.

The application process will open on October 3, 2024 at 5pm BST and close on October 31, 2024 at 11:59pm GMT. For more details and submission guidelines, please visit: www.beatportal.com/fund.
