The remix, which dropped last month, showcases Kaden's flair for transforming tracks into dancefloor-ready anthems. His rework is steeped in tech-house rhythms, adding depth and atmosphere to the original while maintaining its hypnotic drive.

With the remix out now, we asked Mathias to give us a glimpse behind the production curtain.

What aspects of Wouter S’s original track "All My Life" stood out to you the most, and how did they influence your approach to the remix?

I've known Wouter S for many years and have always been a big fan of his music. When he asked me to remix his new song, I knew it would be a cool original track, and I'd have a lot of fun working with the stems for the remix.

Your remix of "All My Life" seems to add a unique atmospheric layer. Can you talk about the specific elements or techniques you used to achieve this effect?

I've always liked timeless music, and that's exactly what I wanted to reflect in the remix — timeless grooves and a voice that catches your ear. That was my intention.

How does working with a label like Huxley’s Dumb Safari influence your creative process compared to other labels you’ve collaborated with?

I've known Dumb Safari for many years and respect Huxley a lot as a DJ colleague and friend, so I was happy to finally do a remix for his label.

Over the years, your sound has evolved significantly. How do you think your approach to remixing tracks like "All My Life" reflects your growth as an artist?

I've stayed true to my sound over the past 25 years. Sometimes it leans more toward house, sometimes more toward techno, but for me, timeless music is always the most important thing. I don’t think the remix for "All My Life" will influence my career; I just created a good remix for my friends.

Can you share any challenges or unexpected surprises you encountered while remixing "All My Life"?

The only difficulty I had when remixing "All My Life" was working with the original voice. I wanted to present it in a different way, so I added a new vocal that I think fits the grooves perfectly.

Looking at the current state of electronic music, where do you see genre trends heading, and how do you see yourself contributing to that direction?

I think the recent wave of hard techno has been good because the house scene is re-emerging, especially from Holland, which makes me really happy. I'm looking forward to seeing house music come back in the next few years.
