French producer Adrien Kepler captures the raw excitement and thrill of adventure.
The melodic techno track reflects the adrenaline of stepping out of one’s comfort zone and encountering untamed nature. The producer drew inspiration from his travels in the Amazon and southeastern Mexico, aiming to mirror these intense emotions in his music.
Adrien Kepler’s creative process is unique; he began ‘Wild’ in November 2022 and only finalized it in May 2023. “I need to let time pass and come back to it. If I still like it months later, it’s worth finishing,” he explains. Unlike his other tracks, ‘Wild’ had no specific musical influences, highlighting its originality. Technically, Adrien Kepler pushed his boundaries by resampling and recombining the lead to achieve a sliced and saturated sound and using a granulator to transform piano notes into rich textures.
For the first time, Adrien Kepler collaborated with Sebastien Lorho for mixing and mastering, seeking new perspectives. The entire track was composed using the Diva plugin and Ableton’s native modules. Adrien Kepler sees ‘Wild’ as both an evolution and an exploration of new horizons, aiming for a dynamic yet sunny and positive vibe.
