Facta makes a triumphant return to his Wisdom Teeth label with the release of "So is the Sun," a daring EP that captures his distinct and playful approach to electronic music. This collection stands as some of his most confident and direct work, showcasing his ability to blend creativity with functionality seamlessly.
In "So is the Sun," Facta expertly balances infectious hooks with malleable, warping sounds, creating an immersive listening experience. The EP features vibrant splashes of melody painted in broad, bold strokes, while bleeping FM synths add a dynamic, neon-tinted energy to the nimble, skipping rhythms. Influenced by the light-footed grooves of early 2000s minimal house and the futuristic synths of artists like DBX and S-Max, Facta refracts these elements into something entirely fresh and contemporary.
Crafted over the course of a year, these tracks were fine-tuned through regular club play and feedback from trusted DJs, resulting in one of Facta's most focused and impactful club records to date. This release marks his first solo project in over a year, following the success of his 2023 EP "Emeline" on Anthony Naples and DJ’J’s Incienso label. "So is the Sun" is also a key part of Wisdom Teeth's 10-year anniversary celebrations, which include a series of releases, merch drops, and global live showcase events.
