“Angel came to light slowly, with many small steps, but the excitement of listening to it has never changed,” the duo told us. “The idea for the track first came to us watching a sunset in Bali – listening to so many different things, so many old things of the most disparate genres, when we both heard the voice sample and immediately imagined the cut – it was love at first sight. A few months later, with the right breath, we wrote the melody that would later define the piece – again, it was love at first sight”

We found the right harmony between the parts with Parisi in New York, then continued to work on it throughout run-ins at parties across the world, from Ultra to Tomorrowland, Mykonos to Ibiza, where it became a bit of a closing record for our NEO Nights at Amnesia. It’s been great to see it grow and evolve, each time it’s been an opportunity to refine, revise and give it the shape it deserves.”
