Meet the Campus Reps for Beatport's New Student Ambassador Program
Get to know the seven talented individuals who will be participating in Beatport's new student ambassador program
For the first time in its 20-year history, Beatport is launching the Campus Reps Ambassador Program across the UK and North America. Before the bell rings and the textbook spines get cracked open for the first time, take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our inaugural Team Leads. On campus and online, they are the first point of contact for other students, organizations and event planners and will help to shape the future of music.

Alexander Yu
New York University
Alex is a disco lover and a house fanatic. Originally from London, England, he has a deep fascination with the origins of dance music. Whilst studying Music at Oxford University, Alex fell in love with DJing after witnessing the sense of community and belonging that dance music can bring. Some of his favorite DJs at the moment are the legendary Frankie Knuckles, Carl Cox, and Folamour. Alex is pursuing a master's degree in Music Business at NYU.

Andrew Vahidy
University of Southern California
Andrew is a Southern California native studying computer science at the University of Southern California with a passion for music. He started his DJing journey during his second year and hasn't looked back. Andrew has performed at bars, major house parties, and charity events. He has hosted several community events through his student organization, empowering many students and the community to get involved with the art form.

Emma Glendenning
Arizona State University
Emma is an upcoming senior at Arizona State University, majoring in Marketing with a focus on Digital and Integrated Marketing Communications. She is also working towards a certificate in Music Entrepreneurship. Emma has taken on several leadership roles, serving as Vice President of Programming for Delta Gamma, Vice President of Campus Affairs for the ASU Panhellenic Council, and president of Up & Up at Arizona State. In addition to her academic and leadership pursuits, she is a DJ performing at venues throughout the greater Phoenix area.

Izaac Moses
Liverpool John Moores University
Izaac Moses is driven by an unwavering passion for music, specializing in funky, groovy house. His biggest influences have stemmed from record labels such as Defected, Glitterbox, Soulfuric and Moxy Muzik, as well as attending both Defected Croatia and IMS Ibiza where music is about bringing people together and creating community. He has been DJing for five years, and has now started experimenting with music production while always looking to share his passion with others and collaborate on new exciting opportunities.

Joel Williams
Florida A&M University
Joel Williams is a senior studying Business at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. He was born in Miami and raised in Atlanta, which had a major impact on his music influences. He manages artists and works as an open-format DJ under the name DJ TysonLee. He is passionate about blending music and marketing to create unforgettable experiences. Balancing his business studies with his DJ gigs keeps Williams inspired and driven. He loves exploring new sounds and innovative strategies to make an impact both on and off the stage.

Stefano Dumas
Northeastern University
Stefano Dumas is a DJ/Producer from Miami, FL, who is currently studying in Boston
at Northeastern University. He has been DJing and producing for about four years now and has locked down club gigs in several different cities, as well as his very first festival earlier this year. He is thrilled to start working with Beatport's Campus Ambassador Program and begin developing a community of like-minded and driven students.

Uchenna Okafor
University of Manchester
Uchenna is a second-year student at the University of Manchester. By day, she is a Medical Student learning how to save lives, and by night, she brings life into the vibrant club and radio scene throughout her city as DJ Pooch! She greatly appreciates all music genres, but her passion lies in electronic dance music. She is beyond thrilled to work with Beatport as the Team Lead for the Manchester Campus Reps, guiding her team of creatives who are equally passionate about dance music, and to grow the DJ and club community.
