Sinego Drops Second Installment of his Debut Album with 'Alterego (Deluxe)'
The Columbia-born, Mexico-based DJ/producer and Beatport Next artist rounds out the Latin/Electronic album with club-ready and nighttime-oriented versions of each track.
Following up on the release of his phenomenal debut album back in October 2023, Singeo's new 27-track deluxe version of Alterago aims to bring a more club-oriented feel to the long player with ten reworked “La Noche” (The Night) versions of the tracks from its predecessor. Additionally, the deluxe release features five new remixes with artists like Argentinian duo Kermesse, Portuguese Discotexas co-founder Xinobi, and more.
"On Alterego, I traveled to every country in Latin America, immersing myself in the unique musical cultures of each place to create a mix of traditional genres from each country and fused them with house music,” explains Sinego about his album. “The result is a rich tapestry of sounds that feels both familiar and innovative. Each track transports you to a different part of Latin America, blending local rhythms and instruments with electronic beats.”
Sinego is a BEATPORT NEXT artist, a program that highlights 12 exceptional emerging artists and looks to amplify them through homepage features, prominent banners, social media promotions, and more. Recently, Beatport released an introductory video for Sinego, giving insight into his story and finding his sound as a DJ and producer.
Going forward, Sinego’s schedule is packed with headline shows and festivals across Latin America, Europe, North America, and Central America, including a performance at the Brooklyn Mirage with Diplo, and Ibiza residency with Cova Santa, and an appearance at Set Underground’s annual Dia De Los Muertos Festival in Oaxaca.
