In Oslo, the Norwegian capital, the city's seal (or coat of arms) reads Unanimiter et constant, which, when translated from Latin, means "United and Constant." One could apply that same motto to Oslo's thriving underground music scene, which has gained significant popularity over the past decade-plus.

One of the key figures leading the charge for Oslo's dancefloors is Simon Field — a prominent DJ/producer who has amassed a loyal following thanks to his unique production chops and comprehensive knowledge of the house genre in all its forms.

With releases on labels like Armada, Ultra, Perfect Havoc, Groove Culture, and beyond, he's amassed hundreds of millions of streams on Spotify and proven himself to be a staple of the Norwegian club circuit with residencies at clubland destinations like Skagum, Jæger, and Natt.

Simon Field's recent release, the impactful nine-track album Panda — released via his homegrown Basement Records imprint — has been a significant milestone in his career. Ivaylo

Ivaylo, a Jaeger club Oslo resident and Full Pupp mainstay, thrives in the diverse hues of club music, with sets spanning from deep House to Techno. His journey began in communist Bulgaria, where his fascination with rare jazz tapes evolved into a passion for electronic music, leading him to drum & bass and house. Now based in Oslo, Ivaylo is a veteran DJ and producer, releasing music on various labels and managing Jaeger's DJ hosting and Full Pupp's subsidiaries.

Meera

Although she´s not originally from Oslo, Meera is frequently resident on the Oslo scene when not supporting Black Coffee at Hi Ibiza. Although Meera´s sound is generally more afro leaning, she has strong references to Oslo's underground house sound.

Karl Fraunhoffer

He’s a synth whisperer, a savant in the studio and a pretender across electronic music genres. From his first productions, which touched on the hedonistic heights of trance to the stark minimal techno he creates today in the Det Gode Selskab camp, Karl Fraunhofer has a versatile affinity for electronic music.

Blichfeldt

Mr. Minimal House in person. After the arrival of the beloved single genre staple track “Blichenslager,” Blichfeldt has become synonymous with Oslo's deep and minimal sound.

Charlotte Bendiks

Known for her eclectic mix of house and techno, Charlotte Bendiks has releases on labels such as Cómeme, Correspondant, and Uncanny Valley. She has also graced the decks at Jæger.

Chris Solaris

In the sonic landscape conducted by DJ/producer Chris Solaris, function always follows form, balancing a minimalist sound aesthetic with structural simplicity. As a key figure in Oslo's Det Gode Selskab collective, Solaris is a prominent force in the Norwegian electronic music scene, serving as a DJ, promoter, festival curator, and label partner.

Vinny Villbass

Known for his innovative approach to blending various house genres, Vinny Villbass' work is characterized by eclectic soundscapes, often incorporating elements from electronic, jazz, and world music. Vinnie's dedication to pushing creative boundaries has earned him a reputation as a visionary in the contemporary music scene. He also acts as head of Oslo's Badabing diskos label and club nights.

Bjørn Torske

With five albums under his belt,  Bjørn Torske has received multiple Spellemannprisen award nominations (the Norwegian equivalent of a Grammy) for his unique electronic productions. Torske's music spans various genres, primarily house, techno, disco, ambient, and downtempo, and he has also released music under his Krisp and Alegria aliases. The artist currently lives in Bergen, but you can find him frequently spinning around the Oslo scene.

Finnebassen

Known for his deep, melodic, and disco-tinged house tracks, Finnebassen has gained international recognition for his noteworthy releases, such as "If You Only Knew" and "Touching Me." His last original release was in 2019, but he still maintains strong roots in Oslo's underground scene.

Todd Terje needs no further introduction. The artist is a staple of Norwegian dance music. Although he has achieved broader recognition, he remains a significant figure in Oslo's underground scene and is especially recognized for his house and disco-infused tracks that have amassed a loyal and global following.
