Bonobo is Back with a New Ninja Tune Track, “Expander”
The English DJ and producer gives fans a fresh, memorable, and highly requested track before hitting some of the biggest stages worldwide on his forthcoming global tour.
UK electronica star Bonobo has been on the scene for more than two decades now, and he continues to prove himself as one of the busiest and most accomplished artists in the electronic music space. He’s been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, tying The Chemical Brothers and Madonna for the most nominations in the Dance/Electronic Recording category. Now, Bonobo is getting ready to perform in front of thousands of fans across the globe, but not before releasing his new single, “Expander” — out now via Ninja Tune.
“Expander” combines deep synths, fast-paced drums, and melodic vocals to create a club-inspired sound that can take on any environment. Bonobo recently played the track during his recent b2b set with Disclosure at their Friends & Family pop-up in LA. He’s also previewed “Expander” at his legendary OUTLIER sets, an event series curated by Bonobo that shows his continued influence as a DJ and highlights a new generation of artists. Listen below.
Bonobo recently announced his next OUTLIER show will be held at Colorado’s Red Rock Amphitheater on September 25, which will feature Ninja Tune label mates Barry Can’t Swim and Sofia Kourtesis, as well as Vancouver-based electronic artist Yu Su. He will also return to Amsterdam on October 18 for an OUTLIER takeover of DGTL @ ADE, and will play the opening night of this year’s Warehouse Project in Manchester as a co-headline with Jungle.
