Heavyweight Drum & Bass producer Posk teams up with vocalist Ekstastic on the track "What You Heard About Me"
The track is a modern drum & bass take on American rapper 50 Cent’s global hit “P.I.M.P”
Known for his innovative approach and infectious energy, Posk continues to push the boundaries of the drum & bass genre with ‘What You Heard About Me,’ delivering an exhilarating experience that is as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.
Speaking about the release Posk says “Early 2000’s hip hop has some of the catchiest melodies and hooks and 50 cents P.I.M.P is one of the most recognisable beats there is. We decided we had to modernise the beat and turn it into a 2024 summer anthem in the form of some drum and bass.”
Ekstastic added to this saying “Taking influence from the original we have added a dnb twist with a rolling bass line and harmonic Melodie’s within the vocals. This is set to be a banger!”
