Dejector and Bad Honey Unveil New Track "Touch"
New Single "Touch" Explores the Emotional Struggles of Imperfect Relationships, Showcasing Dejector's Signature Sound in Collaboration with Bad Honey
Dejector, known for his heartfelt electronica that is frequently featured on BBC Radio 1’s Chillest Show, continues to captivate audiences with his latest release, "Touch." This mesmerizing track marks the second single from his eagerly awaited EP, "you’re all I feel."
Co-written with Terese and Lydia from Bad Honey, "Touch" blends smooth, dreamy vocals with intricate drum work and gliding synths. The lyrics explore the emotional complexities of "being stuck in an imperfect relationship that you can’t leave," adding a deep, relatable layer to the track's immersive sound.
Following his performance at Rinse Project 6, Dejector is set to grace the stage at the Lost Village Festival this summer, further solidifying his presence in the electronic music scene.
"Myself and Bad Honey have been friends for years, so it felt really right to work on a track together. We talked about our shared sense of sometimes living in London having parallels to being stuck in an imperfect relationship that you can’t leave—sometimes you feel trapped, but for all the flaws, you still stay. Teresa from Bad Honey had these beautiful percussive samples she recorded in a church, which we used to make part of the percussion in the track," says Dejector.
Prepare to be moved by the emotional depth and sonic brilliance of "Touch" as Dejector continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.
