DJ livestreams on Twitch are back with a vengeance! To celebrate the launch of their new DJs Category, the world’s most popular live streaming platform is putting together the biggest DJ lineup in Twitch history for a 24-hour global party featuring DJs streaming from across the globe.

Taking place on Thursday, August 8th, the program will kick off in New Zealand at 8:08 PM and will conclude 24 hours later in the US, featuring performances from the likes of Nightmares on Wax, Zedd, Joel Corry, Aluna, Boston Bun, Sub Focus, SOFI TUKKER, HoneyLuv, SIDEPIECE, Jauz, ZHU, and many more.

Beatport is getting in on the action too. Having teamed up with Brunch Electronik Festival, we’ll be bringing you stageside live from an exclusive pre-festival party at the Nobu Hotel in Barcelona to enjoy sets from Nightmares On Wax, Marc Dorian and Andrea Castells during the festivities — tune into Beatport’s Twitch Channel from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM (PST) on 8th August to enjoy the show.

The party doesn’t stop on 8.08 though. The music keeps pumping all week long with streams taking place between August 8th - August 14th. This weekend, Beatport will link up with Ibiza Global Festival for a two-day run of White Isle magic, featuring performances from Claptone, Arodes, Rebeka Brown, Tommy Vee, Calussa, Barbara Tucker, and more! The Twitch DJ Program is an enormous step forward for the online DJ community. By partnering with music companies, major labels, and hundreds of indies, Twitch has finally made it possible for DJs to promote and monetize their sound without the fear of takedowns, bans, and muted streams while simultaneously compensating musicians who make the music they stream. DJs who opt into the Twitch DJ Program by 8.08 and stream to the DJs Category throughout the week will get their chance to be featured on Twitch’s Homepage, Front Page shelf, and social channels.
