Riordan

Riordan makes his debut on Black Book Records with "Bring Me Down," a track that pays homage to UK rave culture and 90s garage while igniting modern dancefloors with its infectious energy. Collaborating with Stanton Warriors, Riordan revamps their iconic original into a relentless UK garage anthem.

Reflecting on his inspiration for the track, Riordan shares, “I genuinely haven't been this excited to put out a song since Needle On The Record. I have always been inspired by Stanton Warriors—I love how diverse they are, dipping into garage, breakbeat, house, and everything in between. I was feeling in the mood to try something new and was reminded of the vocal in 'Bring Me Down' and how special it was. It has SO much energy. As soon as I re-listened to it, I wanted to sample it instantly, so I jumped straight in the studio and made most of the song within 2 hours. I knew that it was a good one, but it wasn't until I played it out live that I realized how energetic this new version of the song was. I've played it in every set since, and it hasn't failed me once. That vocal just hits differently, and I think it's the perfect time to put my stamp on an iconic record. I think this is going to be a huge dance floor weapon, and I am so excited to be releasing it on a dream label of mine, Black Book. I can't think of a better label to do this song with, and I am so ready for release day.
