Carl Craig Taps DJ Holographic for Next ‘Detroit Love’ Compilation

Detroit native and one of the city’s most beloved selectors, DJ Holographic, has been selected by Carl Craig to curate the next edition of his renowned ‘Detroit Love’ mix compilation series.

A core member of the city’s underground scene and LGBQT+ community, DJ Holographic’s penchant for bringing funkadelic vibes to the dance floor with potent eclecticism has quickly earned her a reputation as one one of the Motor City’s brightest future stars.

In heading up Detroit Love Vol. 5, DJ Holographic follows artists like Stacey Pullen, Waajeed, and Mirko Loko, who have previously contributed to the compilation series. Her mix features tracks from Soul Clap & The Martinez Brothers, Erika, Juan Ramos, Underground System, and more.

Ahead of its release on April 16th via Carl Craig’s Planet E Communications and K7!, she’s shared her brand new compilation single, “Faith In My Cup,” which features vocals from Detroit gospel choir trained singer/songwriter Apropos. Check out the track below.
